I wanted to make a blouse with an all lace back for some time, here it the first one ^^
This blouse is inspired by late victorian fashion and edwardian wear, adjusted to own design.

I have to agree with you, this photo is up for redo. I had very bad light, that's why I had to use some "ugly" tools to bring detail back (like 'clarity' in RAW, then some 'lighten shadows' and then some contrast to make it less grey). Then I cut out the blouse with the select tool and pasted it onto a white background. I have PSE 8 (photoshop elements) and no wacom tablet or anything, just my mouse, mwaaah. Saving up for better tools! I can't find the pen tool on my PSE version, I'm going to buy PSE 12 soon, hope it's there...! Most of my pictures are better than this one (I just wanted the blouse online), but I'm sure I'm going to be very happy with more tools and a tablet!
EGL and Gothic Lolita both have their roots in Victorian fashion, it's logical that you thought of that. I also have a thing for wave/punk, which comes a bit back through my design, so the Visual Kei association is also a logical one. I like how these styles manifest in different part of the world!
