Sometimes you just have to make a innocent little dress :) I made this in January 2011. The bodice is based on a 1867 victorian pattern, the skirt part is inspired on a +- 1875 evening gown. The pictures are taken with a short petticoat underneath (also of own label :) )

Ooh I love that backside, that's really pretty. Using lacing and lace as decoration is almost so 'basic', but when done like this it gives a whole new turn to it :D I was wondering by the way, is that a waisted bust (zo eentje met wespentaille?) or is it a regular shaped bust with an average size 36 or 38? Everything always fits so nicely :D

Thank you so much!!!
It's a normal sized doll. (bust 86, waist 65, hip 88 or something like that). Well, it's partially because of the victorian seams in the pieces of clothing. Those historical patterns are made to fit over a corset, so they're also very fitted on the doll. Also, when a top is -on some parts or over all- slightly bigger then the doll, I use pins ;)
